"Be the change you want to see in the world"

As a minority girl growing up with immigrant parents, I used to think that a woman's job was to work for your family. As a women, I now know that in order to support your family, a woman must first support herself through furthering her education, challenging stereotypes, and continuing to grow as an individual in order to be able to support others. A woman is as strong as the women she surrounds herself with.
